How to Talk to Someone

How to Talk to Someone.

If you think you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, talking to someone about it can be hard.

You might feel like no one will believe you or that you’ll get into trouble for reporting what’s going on.

But telling someone about the abuse is the best way to put a stop to it.

You should never try to confront an abuser on your own. Instead, tell an adult you trust what’s going on. It might be another parent, grandparent, relative, teacher, counselor, pastor, coach, or doctor.

Don't Go In Alone
