1. Try looking at things in a different way.
2. Imagine a happy memory.
When you're feeling sad, close your eyes and think about a time when you felt really happy and proud of yourself. This can help bring back those good feelings.
3. Focus on the good qualities about yourself.
It's easy to think bad about ourselves. Instead write down 3 things that you like about yourself. You can also try positive affirmations.
4. Make plans to do fun things outside of your house
Like going for a walk or meeting up with friends. It might seem hard at first, but getting out and doing activities can make you feel better.
5. Look forward to something exciting in the future.
Like planning a trip or an event that makes you happy. Having something to be excited about can boost your mood.
Remember, it's okay to ask for help if you need it! Talk to an adult or someone you trust if you're feeling really down and they can help find someone who can support you.
